I am so excited
May 1, 2008I had gone on my first interview in 7 years today. I had applied for a job last week and last night I received a message from a woman saying that she wanted me to call her and set up an interview. I had called first thing this morning and she wanted to see me today. I really wasn't ready, but I told her ok. I set up the appointment for 2:30 this afternoon so that I would have some time to get everything together and retype my cover page for my resume.
When I got to the interview, the woman I was suppose to meet was in a meeting, so I had to wait about a half hour for her. I was so nervous, but I was confident. She finally came into the waiting room and she brought me to a conference room. The interview went well, I hope. She is probably half my age but that is ok. I felt very comfortable. She said if I was chosen, she would let me know either Monday or Tuesday and then I would have to go back for a second interview with the other 2 people that I would be working for. If I get the job, I will be starting on Wednesday of this week already. That means, I have to go buy myself some new office clothes. My last job, was very laid back and I could wear jeans, with this job, I will have to dress up a little bit.
